Republican Texas Railroad Commission nominee Bo French blasted Democratic opponent state Rep. Jon Rosenthal (D-District 135) after The Dallas Express reported on the Democrat’s social media follows involving adult content.
After the October 15 report, Rosenthal’s X account no longer followed Lily (@vintagelilye), which periodically publishes pornographic videos. His Bluesky account continued following two “transgender-related” accounts the investigation identified, a follow-up newsroom review found.
“Following the exposure of this activity, Rosenthal unfollowed the heterosexual adult content accounts, but maintained his connection with the transgender pornographic accounts,” French said in a statement to The Dallas Express.
“It seems as though Jon’s biggest concern was anyone thinking he would engage with heterosexual adult content, not his overall engagement,” he added.
The original review identified two “transgender-related” accounts among approximately 50 Rosenthal followed on Bluesky. One, H.R.T. Pufnstuf, promotes “Trans Slumber Party,” adults-only online gatherings that may include nudity. The other, Cloudy, links to OnlyFans and Fansly accounts.
The newsroom also previously reported two likes from Rosenthal’s Bluesky account on posts by H.R.T. Pufnstuf.
Those follows and likes do not establish that Rosenthal purchased adult content, attended the gatherings or endorsed every post.
Rosenthal discussed the prospect of participating nude in a Pride parade during a 2018 podcast interview, Texas Scorecard reported on October 7.
“You know, I’m a little overweight, so I kind of draw the line at getting naked,” Rosenthal said. “But if I was in better shape, I would be pretty cool with it.”
Rosenthal also voted against House Bill 900 in 2023. The legislation sought to restrict sexually explicit material in public school libraries.
The Dallas Express sought comment from Rosenthal but received no response.
