Rescue crews airlifted one man to the hospital after a shooting that left one person in custody on Saturday morning.
Florida City Police Department officers said that they responded to reports of a shooting at 501 Northwest 16th Street, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
They said that the man was then airlifted to Jackson South Medical Center, where he is in stable condition.
Authorities also said that a subject remained at the scene and is now in custody.
Detectives are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
